We are aiming to put more events like these on in the future, and we're trying to keep thinking up fresh and new idea's to keep it interesting. Finally organised this bad-boy. Bonfire night, 5th November 2011. Meet at Avenham Park hill (the steep one) and race to Preston Grasshoppers to watch their display and bonfire. 5.30pm at Avenham with the race starting at 6pm. Bring lights and £5 to get into grasshoppers... See you there!
On the 28th September 2011 at The Mad Ferret, in Preston... we screened a couple of fixed gear bike films including Boikzmoind. We then organised a sprint race with prizes from To Live and Ride in L.A.
On the 14th July 2011 we all got together on a sunny Thursday evening to ride over to what we were told was 'The Best Ice-Cream in Lancashire' from Bonds of Elswick. The evening was beautiful and the ice-cream was indeed awesome!
On the 5th June 2011, we held our first ever event which we dubbed The Poker Race. This was a 3 checkpoint, fixed gear specific race that covered about 9 miles around Preston. We also had a footdown, trackstand and skid competition following it.
