Since I bought a Dosnoventa frame recently, I’ve been really closely watching everything they put out. This was a big purchase for me and, even though it shouldn’t necessarily be an issue, how they maintain their image is important to me. You don’t see too many people riding a Dosnoventa in the UK (though, it’s growing) so I find it really encouraging when I see videos like this. I know that if I bump into another rider and we talk about bikes, when they invariably go and research Dosnoventa, they’re finding a company that’s enthusiastic about riding. Portraits of a bunch of guys who do this for the love, and they do it well.

They’ve got a great image, and they appear to have a great attitude – you ride because you love it. That aligns perfectly with why I ride. You can ride fixed, road, MTB, BMX, FGFS; it doesn’t matter. What matters is you’re enjoying yourself on two wheels. Plus they have a dog that sits in a basket. If I tried that with my dog, I’d probably last about 15 seconds before he jumped out and killed both of us!
