The Red Bull Hill Chasers comes to Bristol on Saturday 18th February. 16 Elite and 16 Amateur riders compete to see who’s the fastest up Bristol’s Park Street. BMX, Mountain bike, Road bikes, Fixed gears… anything goes. It’s the ultimate in what’s fastest up a hill.

I’ve ridden up and down Park St a couple of times and it’s pretty long/steep! In fact, the first hill i rode when i went to Bristol was Park St.

Luckily, i’ll be in Bristol on this day so i’m actually going to be there, i just don’t know whether or not to sign up? Expect video’s and pictures eitherway.

Qualifying is 8.30am – 11am and is open to all but it isn’t actually on Park St, it’s on Hill Street which runs parallel with Park Street. The main event starts later in the evening at 7pm. Last years Hill Chasers event saw names like Danny Macaskill, Tom La Marche and Chris Metcalfe (who came first overall). I wonder who we can expect this year?
