So 2011 is now over. It was a mental year for us. From what started out as a little bit of fun in our rainy hometown of Preston, has now grown into something that i don’t think i could live without anymore. Probably sounds like i’ve got delusions of grandeur but i’m being honest. Deaf Pigeon is something that i’ve worked hard at, and seeing other people getting involved with it has just made it better.
I created this little info-graphic to show the past 12 months of our existence. I didn’t realise the scale of the growth until i started looking through my stats. Here’s to hoping that 2012 will do the same.
Massive thanks to everyone who’s put the time into helping us progress over this last year, especially Danny Cameron for joining up to help with our photo/video needs and my best mate Jasper Tandy for helping me out with the creation of the site (and also for putting up with my constant online ramblings about bikes).
This blog post wouldn’t be complete without special thanks to the other UK blogs and companies that helped us in various different ways. So here goes. LSF, Restrap, FixedShitUp, The 5th Floor, Boikzmoind, The Footdown, Hewitt Cycles, Scene, Cantgoslo and Fixed&What… thanks guys!
So that’s it… 2011, wow!
