Last night we held the Preston screening of the incredible BOIKZMOIND and To Live and Ride in L.A at The Mad Ferret.
First of all, i want to whole heartedly thank both of the filmakers for creating 2 amazing fixed gear films. Secondly, i want to thank everyone who made it out to our screening on a school night. The atmosphere was amazing and the turnout was way over my expectations, at last head count there was about 30-40 people there.

The night started at 7pm with BOIKZMOIND. If you haven’t seen this film yet, you really need to. It is perfect… I have no bad words or criticsms for it. 30 minutes of U.K fixed gear cycling perfection.
Go check out which screenings are still coming up and get to one! You won’t regret it.

After BOIKZMOIND had ended and we’d all had a bit of a drink break and a chill, we fired up the second film of the evening. To Live and Ride in L.A, from Trafik Pictures. After seeing a load of trailers for this film, i was super stoked when they agreed to let me have it for screening. Not only that, they gave us some prizes for our race.
Huge thank you to Trafik for the film and for the prizes and thanks to the Cantgoslo boys for trekking over from Manchester… it’s always good to see them.

RACE
After all the of the films had finished and everyone was suitably in the mood for a race, we went outside and got all of the bikes unlocked ready to race. The race was only short, a 3×3 mile wriggle over to Broughton roundabout and back. Check out the video below.
